Two bands worth noting - first was All the Queen's Men, a four-piece consisting of three very strong female players with a guy on bass. The ladies stole the stage with a sound unlike any other: heavy rock riffs by killer guitarist Catherine Capozzi, bolstering the borderline operatic vocals of Christine Zufferey. The effect was art in audio, reminiscent of early R.E.M. or Pylon, but slyly in synch with the sounds of the Changelings or Dead Can Dance. - Karen Lee
