In
Doug's Top 5 - All the Queen's Men are in fact three
gals and one (lucky) guy. Unusual and provocative, the band
mixes sultry vocals with industrial rhythms that are tense
and ethereal. Lead singer Christine Zufferey has a similar
vocal quality to Dale Bozzio as she croons with an urgent,
cathartic edge. She is also responsible for the mesmerizing
keyboard lines and samples that are disseminated throughout
these tracks.
Meanwhile,
bandmate Catherine Capozzi injects sinuous guitar lines
while bassist Chris Farrell and Tamora Gooding perpetrate
flawless techno grooves. The result is an ambitious original
project that will very well turn Boston upside down. Ingenius!
