The New AQM Rep Program

As most of you know, music is best spread fan to fan by word of mouth. We are finding out that the big record companies' approach of cramming songs and pop stars down your throat, does not work in building a long-term career or loyal fans. Our goal with the rep program is to create a community of AQM fans all over the world.

What is the AQM Rep Program?

The AQM Rep Program is our grassroots way of spreading the music, having fun, and giving you the chance to make a little bit of money.

Right now we're mostly known in the Northeast (with pockets of international fans in Switzerland, London, Paris and Angola). But with our music and YOUR help, we can change that. We see each rep as the local "Mad Monarch". In your "Queendom", you're the kiosk of AQM info, the pusher of AQM music & merch, and the chief posterchild. You're the key to building our Queendom of listeners, and we want you to know what's going on with us. You'll be hearing a lot from us. And we want to hear from you, too, ... about your ideas for the band or the rep program and what's going on at your place. Put us in your email address book, and remember email only works if you use it!

Welcome to the Queendom! Meet Madame Static!

As you probably know, September 22, 2001 was the release date of our new Madame Static CD. Madame Static is available in stores at Newbury Comics in Cambridge, Boston, and Newton as well as online at Amazon.com and CDBaby.com.

Reps get special volume discounts on all our merchandise. We want to get this music out throughout the world, get new friends on board, and help supply future AQM fans who'll want our early discs after hearing our latest release. Reps get special deals on our merchandise. For example, Madame Static retails at $11.99. As an AQM rep, you can purchase them for $8.00 each with a minimum order of 5. We suggest you resell them for $10.00. Mail orders by check are acceptable -- see the merch page for all the info. You can buy your merchandise from us up front and sell it on campus, at your company, etc.

AQM in your town

In addition to your sales efforts, there are lots of other ways you can help us get the word out about our music:

*Let us know the hot clubs, campus venues, festivals or parties to play in your area!
*Create a buzz" on a local level
*Organize listening parties/Welcome to the Queendom/Rocktronica parties/record release parties - get popular restaurants, bars, clubs, and stores around town and your campus involved
*Point of purchase placement of flyers, bin cards, posters, stickers, at cool record stores in your town
*Help us with tour promotion by hyping concerts, flyering, passing out promotional materials at shows, etc. and by putting posters up in your town or on your college campus!
*Promote AQM product on the internet, radio, fanzines, e-zines, etc.
*Provide AQM with feedback/reports
*Organize special promotions i.e. contests, "stunts" and giveaways by brainstorming with other reps and AQM
*Get everyone (your work friends and your school friends) to sign up for the AQM mailing/email list
*Turn your friends onto AQM with free downloadable MP3 files
*Turn your favorite club DJs on to our remixes

AQM Around the World

We need involved and enthusiastic reps on our team, for we are on a mission. We want to let you know how important your efforts are to us with incentives and prizes. Reps with extra efforts will get bonuses... free, specially autographed merchandise, posters, rare compilation CD's, passes to shows in your area and other prizes.
